Description:
After I finished Final Fantasy VII Rebirth I really wanted to replay the original again.
That's when I saw the Survivor Mod from Kaiseran. And really enjoyed. But the difficult was still vanilla.
I already played the mods of platinum and hardtype in psx; and new threat in pc, so I tried to give my own spin in the original psx version using Survivor as base to change Aerith's fate.
I began to work on my hack in May, the hardest part to do was figuring out how you change things (in a working way) and how to use the tools that the fantastic Qhimm members made.
I got almost one week to figure out a way to add new materias without breaking the game and finally being able to do some progress. Unfortunately there's somethings I was not able to succeed (e.g. Adding Drain and Osmose correct animations).
I made some new changes, but I need feedback specially in disc 2 and 3, because maybe the enemies are too strong.--V 1.0--
- Higher difficulty (buffed enemies)
- Enemy names are updated to FFVII Rebirth names or corrected using series default names (e.g. Heli Gunner updated to The Valkyrie; Coeurl and Ahriman corrected)
- Majority of enemies have elemental strenghts and weakness now
- Characters are slight balanced (details in III.A below)
- Low MP in beginning of the game. Aerith, Vincent and Cait Sith have way higher pool (almost the double), everyone begin to equalize in Lv 40~50
- Higher cost Gil in items, weapons and materias
- Split between common monsters and some more notable ones
- Gil dropped only by humanoids, robots and bosses, drops and steals can be selled for Gil (Kinda FFXII inspired)
- All materias have impact in the status of characters
- Materia needs more AP to level up (incentive to use double AP equipments)
- Added Wind, Water and Holy materia/magic
- Modified some spells (e.g. included Drain and Osmose)
- Removed Debuff magic
- New materias for debuff (needs Added Effect materia to inflict debuff with attacks)
- Modern names for spells (e.g. Fira; Firaga; etc)
- Added a exclamation before enemy skills names (Inspiration by PSX Mod Rebirth)
- Limit Breaks take longer to learn, fill and is needed more kills to learn new ones
- Damage limit break and spirit bug fix patches applied
- A lot of other minor changes, grammar fixes and etc.

- Choco/Mog don't have Wind element in the materia anymore
- Kujata now is the true Tetra elemental (Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth)
- Typhon now is a Wind summon with Wind element in the materia
- Wind/Water/Holy materia now only have tier 1 and 3 (Dia, Diaga, Water, Waterga, Aero, Aeroga), before was tier 1 and 2 (Aerora, Watera, Diara)
- modified some animations of the new spells
- Improved the items descriptions
- spread better new materias in shops and balance to every town having something new to look for
- spread better weapons in towns
- more ways to be possible to adquire missable items, e.g. batteries (for completonists runs, earth mallet, ghost hand, etc). Some I already added in v1.0 in enemies drops or steals
