One day Cassius Bright took home an injured boy (Joshua),and Estelle Bright (Cassius’s daughter) waiting patiently waiting for her father to come back, suddenly she is confronted with this child on his father’s arms, surprised and furious, asked one of the most hilarious and serious question her father has ever heard,”Why Is My Present a BOY?!”

A few years have passed, Estelle and Joshua both matured and now aspires to become bracers just like their father (Cassius adopted Joshua into the family) finally took the Bracer’s exams and passed with flying colors!
Cassius Bright on the other hand has received another mission, eager to leave immediately, cassius notified estelle and joshua as Bracer trainees to protect the town while he’s away.
They one day received news that the Airliner their father was in suddenly disappeared out of nowhere!
Concerned with their father’s disappearance, the both sets out on a journey to find him while training they skills as Junior Bracers!

Graphics:
OMFG! this game is Gorgeous! the 3D environments and details are so overly well made that it just makes me want to see the whole world in first person view!
the 2D sprites are so detailed as well for a PSP game!

Gameplay:
It’s a classic traditional RPG with your traditional turn based combat.
It also has a limit break gauge for unleashing unique and deadly attacks!
But don’t let these things turn you off, as this game is a hidden gem among RPG fans!
The thing that i didn’t like about this game is how your 3rd party member always leaves you after the end of a particular chapter. but at the end of the game, you’ll be able to use all of them again!

Music:
Beautiful,beautiful and just beautiful!!
falcom always compose great soundtracks in their games ever since the PC era!
(just checked out wikipedia and this is what I’ve found:”Falcom was also a pioneer in video game music.” “Falcom’s Ys soundtracks in particular are considered some of the finest and most influential role-playing game scores of all time.”)

Overall:
A Great RPG with A Great Story that spans over 3 games/chapters!
this is probably one of the most underrated RPGs on the PSP/PC that needs the recognition it deserves in the RPG world!
Who knows, it might become the next most recognized RPGs out there like the Tales series!
(Japan already acknowledged this series and the rest of the world hopefully catches up soon.)

avatar=444_1412308809.pngThis is just the first chapter in the Sora No Kiseki Trilogy. With detailed environment, long but engaging story, easy to catch up gameplay, soothing background music, you’ll be playing this game all night.

Story:

The game is about Estelle and Joshua’s adventure throughout the Liberl Kingdom. Becoming bracers-in-training and all they need to see those they need to protect. Along the way they’ll find unbreakable friendship and menacing schemes. The usual plot for almost all JRPGs but it doesn’t have to be original to stand out. There are different chapters that delve onto different enemies for you not to bored with. The game involves a lot of text.

Gameplay:

It is turn-based but looks like a tactical one. Encountering enemies aren’t random as they are seen outside. They will chase you if you’re level is low though. Also, talking about the leveling, one can’t be overpowered in this game because once you’re at the right level you’ll just be receiving +1 experience.

Character:

Everyone in the game has their own dialogue that changes as time pass. Each of you teammates has awesome personalities especially Olivier. Everything is funny whenever Olivier is there.

Music:

I just love the song “Whereabouts of Light”, it just pleases my ears. Every BGM in the game would make you excited about the adventures ahead so I recommend that you turn your volumes up.

Replay:

The game is very critical in completion. There’s the Monster Book, Recipe Book, Bracer Rank, Mission List, Carnelia Chapters and many more that needs collecting and you must be reading a walkthrough if you completed all this in just one playthrough

Overall:

The game will make you play it from beginning to end but be warned… This game is currently the only officially translated game. The next two chapters aren’t. Second Chapter was given the green light and will be released for the PSP!! in late 2014. No news for Third Chapter but can they really put it in the PSP?!
