Review by BloodOnTheDF:
It’s time to play tic-tac-toe with MONSTERS!
The Eye of Judgment: Legends is a spin-off game of PS3 game with the same name. It’s a very original strategy game based on card battles. In this game, you have to build your deck with monsters and spells to own a 9-tile board and reduce your opponent to ashes. Pretty easy, huh? Well, IT’S NOT. Creatures are divided into 5 different civilizations, each one with unique effects and strategies to play with. The said 9-tile board counts with different field types that will boost or choke your creatures depending on civilization affinity. You will have to combine your spells and creatures in order to change field and even creatures disposition and stats. If those features didn’t convince you, I’ll tell you that this game has actual plot. You have this typical fantasy world setting where you are an underdog mage that comes to birng peace to civilizations war chaos. Does not sound really interesting at first but can get really appealing with an awesomely fitting soundtrack and beautiful illustrations.
Enough talk, brave mage. Prepare yourself to MANA CHARGE and MANA RELEASE and conquer the board!
PROTIP: I recommend you to pick the starter deck at start of the game until you can master this game’s mechanics. Picking a civilization based deck at start can put you on trouble on early stages.
