Review by BloodOnTheDF:

avatar=411_.jpgA pretty decent entry to this franchise. Rockstar guys take the street racing scene to LA including new cars and motorcycles to rule the streets. As always you have the driving skills but two things are missing: money and reputation. Its your job to make your name by defeating every guy with a fast car on LA. Packed with impressive graphics, this game lacks of creativity on story mode. First, there are tasks that you have to accomplish to advance in story . Those tasks include winning several races with every type of car on the game. The main issue with this is the huge unbalanced tier system. This will make you speculate your winnings in order to afford the cars you need. Races are quite challenging and fun to play but police IA is just lame. But hey, those complaints doesn’t ruin the game at all. In compensation we have different types of challenges, a deep customization system, and a second city to rule after conquering LA: Tokyo.
This game have its highs and lows but it will be one of the best racing games you will find for our beloved PSP.

PROTIP: There are three main special abilities in this game depending the car type you are using. Use them anytime you can because drivers and traffic cars will do everything to stop you. Trust me, they happen to be nasty at times.
