Description:

Dai-3-Ji Super Robot Taisen Alpha: Shuuen no Ginga e (第3次スーパーロボット大戦α 終焉の銀河へ) is a Tactical RPG video game published by Banpresto released on July 28th, 2005 for the PlayStation 2.

A work in progress patch, released on reddit by user ArkBeetleGaming.

Done:
Battle Menu, Unit Names, Attack Names (9X%)
Enemy Names (9X%), Enemy Attack Names (9X%)
Main Menu, Intro Text, Stage Names, Battle text (30%)
Character Names, Fixed Title Screen (matches with SRW 30, X, and V)
Fixed Alpha channel on the title screen to match the original unpatched version.
ASCII implemented.
Partial Variable Width Font implemented.
Spirit Commands description.
Reinf. Parts description.
Experimenting with Stage dialogue (mostly Stage 0, what can fit)
Mission Objectives (7X%) (Whichever ones were able to fit within alloted space.)
(Note: Some of the wording may be abreviated, initialized, shortened, lack of puntuation, etc., due to spacing constraints and cannot be redirected to another location e.g: Hell Grand Marshall used instead of Great Marshall of Hell, B-Day
for Birthday, B.Type for Blood Type, Nicknm. for Nickname, Wpn for Weapon Cons. for Consumable, Mvmnt for Movement, Mobil. for Mobility, R.Cost for Repair Cost)

To Do at some point:
Better fonts, Battle Text (the remaining), complete Variable-Width font
Get the numbers to work with ASCII. (Still using SHIFT-JIS values for the numbers.)
Enemy Attack and Enemy Unit Names. (I'm sure, I missed something.)
Menu alignment.
Stage dialogue and exit dialogue (when quiting from battle menu).
Fix the bug that prevents 100% on the Robot Encyclopedia.
(Dominion does not appear on the Robot Encyclopedia)
Translate Mission Objectives (remaining)
Translate Spirit Command Descriptions (remaining).
Translate all Reinf. Parts Descriptions.
Whatever else needs to be translated.

I spend my days following the ROM hacking scene, searching for cool hacks and translations of old games that were left in Japan. All translation and hacking credits go to their respective authors. Neither I nor anyone at CDR translates games.
