Densetsu no Ogre Battle Gaiden: Zenobia no Ouji (伝説のオウガバトル外伝 ゼノビアの皇子) is a Tactical RPG video game published by SNK released on 2000 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color.
There was a certain hype when this patch came out thanks to some news site reporting about it without fully understanding what it is.
In my opinion, even with the patch the game is unplayable unless you are some Ogre Battle expert that can play with your eyes closed. An average human wouldn't know what to do.
Furthermore, the patch scrambles the Japanese text so even if you could figure something out reading Kana, with this you can't:
