Description:
Black Matrix Zero (English Patched) (ブラックマトリクス ゼロ) is a Tactical RPG video game published by NEC Interchannel released on August 30th, 2002 for the GBA.
This is actually a series of RPG games that never saw the light outside of Japan, probably because the game story has some religion in it western publishers thought it was too much for us to handle, it is no secret that religion has always been a taboo on video games specially in the early years with the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles.
In fact if you haven’t already check this very interesting video from gamesack where they talk about regional differences, seems like we are too fragile to deal with religion on a game, oh well!
About the patch:
Sadly this patch is not a big deal, it only covers the menus, item names, and descriptions. Hopefully you will get to finish the game with this help compared to having the full Japanese version, i’ve found there’s a full Korean patch by Team Redwing that might be useful, if you know Korean that is.
