This patch makes the game default to English when you start it, no need to do anything!
- Version 1.1 (2023-06-10)
- Translated VMU save file metadata into English.

Initially a patch that translated only the menus existed, but recently (01 June 2023) someone uploaded a stand alone version of the patch (for the GDI) to romhacking.
While it doesn't translate anything new it allows us to patch the GDI version of the game.
Later, a comment by etrotm12 shared the information of a secret menu that let you set the in-game language of the game to English, Spanish or Portuguese prompted aTeam to create a new patch that sets the game to English by default.
If you want to Spanish or Portuguese you can still access the secret menu like so:
- hold L+R and enter the Option menu.
- In there select ALL GAMES and set the 4th option to:
U.S.A > English
Hispanic > Spanish
Brazil > Portuguese
