Another one of the great RPGs in the last years of the SNES era!
This game is a spinoff of the Far East of Eden/Tangai Maikyo series and also set in the feudal Japan-like land of Jipang.

Features a turn based battle system and a “real time” clock (You need to set a time though, like in Pokemon Silver) that allows you to encounter game events based on the day of the week and what time it is.

Story is set in an era where a prince released the demon lord Ninigi, who sealed the gods of the land and oppresses the people living there. It is about a young man called Higan who learned he is the Fire Hero fated to save the kingdoms and defeat the demon lord after his village was attacked by demons.

HOW TO run it on SNES9X for PC and analogue pocket:

  • snes9x Just start the game as long as you didn't delete the savedata it will run.
  • pocket extract the files as is to the right location. Thanks f3bandit!
  1. First drag the .zip file it will say some weird message: “THE BACKUP DATA INS’T WORKING” Press A Button (Do it). Then it will say “ALL OK – RESET THE SYSTEM”. Don’t.
  2. Instead drag the file a second time. This time it will ask to Press B button, do that.
  3. Drag the file a third time….The game will start!!! (Makes sense…not). This process only need to be done the first time you play.

I spend my days following the ROM hacking scene, searching for cool hacks and translations of old games that were left in Japan. All translation and hacking credits go to their respective authors. Neither I nor anyone at CDR translates games.
