Princess Arthur (プリンセス・アーサー) is a Otome/Visual Novel video game published by Idea Factory, Otomate released on March 28th, 2013 for the PlayStation Portable.
Aru is an ordinary girl who lives in a village with her father, Sir Ector, and her brother, Kay. She grew up learning swordsmanship from her father and her brother is a knight of the Round Table.
After the news that King Uther Pendragon had passed away, many people tried to take on the challenge of pulling the sword out of the stone.
The person who succeeded was neither a knight nor royalty, but Aru herself. Kay tried to pull the sword out to prove his knighthood and when she tried to stop him, the sword came out.
After that, she’s taken to the castle where she meets the Knights of the Round Table. There, everyone doubted her and she received many threats telling her to step down. She starts to struggle most when she stands on the battlefield for the first time..
But even with this burden on her shoulders, Aru still wants to find love. And so, she takes the holy sword in her hand.. to cut open a path for herself and the one she loves.
