Dangan Ronpa is a visual novel that’s similar to ace attorney, the game is about a group of students trapped in a school by a evil bear called Monokuma and the only way to get out of the school is killing each other. The game is split in two segments the school part where you can interact with people and objects, and then there’s the class trials, it’s when you are trying to find the culprit. The game has gotten a lot of praise since its release with a sequel called super Dangan Ronpa 2 and a spin off game on the vita.
HOW TO FIX PROBLEMS WITH PPSSPP EMULATOR:
- Make sure you have the latest version of PPSSPP emulator
- Once you get to the classroom if you cannot interact with objects click game settings -> rendering mode and select “Read FrameBuffers to memory (CPU)”.
Note: for Nvidia users try “Framebuffer to Memory(GPU)” instead.
Note 1: If the latest build doesn’t work for you, try with an older version of ppsspp.
Note 2: With ppsspp there’s a bug at chapter 6: “where Asahina tried to control the Monokuma by the Monokuma’s control room. Shortly after some recall from Kirigiri’s explaination, the game crashed (stopped working).” (Posted by Skrillex)
Solution: Disable hardware transform to pass that part. it’s under graphic settings or press F6 to toggle ON/OFF.
