Description:
SD Snatcher (SDスナッチャー) is a RPG video game published by Konami released on 1990 for the MSX.
Like Snatcher this game is also a multi disk game (not a cartridge/rom). There are 2 different translations for this game. The first one by Oasis with an addendum by Ded302 applied. And a newer one, in my opinion superior by Project Melancholia. If you are unsure, choose the Project Melancholia one.
Now to emulation: This game by default requires a sound cartridge to work (SCC cart).
If you launch the Oasis .m3u file on Retroarch BlueMSX core you will get an "INSERT SOUND CARTRIDGE" message. Retroarch can't do this apparently (It may be possible but I couldn't do it).
So if you wanted to play Oasis translation you'd need something like the Stand alone BlueMSX and insert the sound cart.
Alternatively the Project Melancholia translation can bypass the SCC cart requirement, allowing you to play on RetroArch but you'll have to choose an inferior sound chip to play (PSG audio).
Useful tip: Use left ALT to close the inventory, took me a while to figure that out.
