Description:
Duke Nukem 3D is a First Person Shooter video game published by 3D Realms, GT Interactive released on 1993 for MS-DOS.
Getting this game to work was a challenge. First there was a syntax error on the game CFG file (SCRIPT_GetString: no ” found at end of string). Then it was giving errors of wrong IRQ on the FX sound card but i was able to find a working DOSBox sound setup for a different game that also worked for this one. Then ran the setup to enable the mouse. And changed the movement from arrow keys to WASD and bind Jump to the space bar and open doors with F. As a result a ready to play drag and drop version for you!
How to play Duke Nukem 3D (DOS):
- Extract the .rar with Winrar
- Drag and drop duke3d into DOSBox.
- That’s it!
If you want to change the controls you’ll have to run the setup. But they should already be OK for most people.
