Numerous additional updates and enhancements have been made to improve overall gameplay experience. Key updates include:
- The game now bypasses opening cinematics upon startup.
- Key interfaces such as the main, multiplayer, training modes, and game HUDs have been translated into English.
- The game's default settings now align with standard tournament rules: three rounds to win and a 90-second timer per round.
- Navigation speed on the Character Select Screen has been increased, and the Stage Selection Screen now shows the size and layout of the stage currently highlighted.
- The Wake-up Kick (WUK) feature from Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is now included.
- Movement has been enhanced for fluidity; slow backflips have been replaced with swift sliding backdashes, elimination of the run-stop animation, and more responsive running sidesteps that aggressively track the opponent, similar to the mechanics in Revolution 3.
- Training Mode introduces a recording function for practicing combos and defense strategies, alongside a debug version for examining frame data, technical specifics, and code, including frame-by-frame progression.
- SCON4 features additional stages:
- Silent Shrine, brought over from Revolution 3
- Tenchi Bridge, from Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! Special
- Aquarium and Asian Gate, from Bloody Roar Extreme
- Plus, an original stage set in the Uchiha Hideout.
