Sequel to the original Kirby’s Dream Land and Kirby’s Adventure. The 3rd main game (or 6th game if you include all those side games)
An evil being named Dark Matter, who has possessed King Dedede, has stolen the Rainbow Bridges that connect the seven Rainbow Islands.
It is up to you to stop this man from conquering Dream Land.
The gameplay is a standard platformer. Kirby can run, jump, fly, and swim. What sets it apart at the time was Kirby had the ability to swallow his enemies whole and then use that power for himself, known as his Copy Ability.
In this game, he gets the assistance of three animal friends by mounting them in some way, which expanded what the basic Copy abilities could do. (This was back when each one only did one attack so it gave some variety).
