Working Designs was a US publisher dedicated to bring Japanese games to the West and absolutely ruining them in every possible way in the process. Not only they rewrote scripts taking all liberties and added cringe worthy voice overs but also messed with the gameplay usually making the games extremely difficult by reducing the main character stats and increasing the ones of the enemies.
This patch reverts the gameplay changes back to the original Japanese version. Voice and script, sadly, are kept.
Changes List:
- All enemies have their stats restored.
- The formula that calculates damage from passive hazards (lava, spikes, etc.) has been reverted.
- Items price to buy and sell reverted to the Japanese version.
